Leader George Huxley is a reeds-man with an international following. His thrilling soprano saxophone sound has frequently been likened to that of the legendary Sidney Bechet. Joining George are trumpet ace Gordon Whitworth and fine trombonist Ron Hills. John Penn’s sparkling stride piano style provides the solid foundation for the stunning front line.
