Ludlow Festival: 25th June to the 10th July 2011

Festival Finale Pop Concert with Grand Firework Display

Killer Queen and Desperado

Patrick Myers presents the sound and the look, combined with the showmanship, pomp, style and incredible musicianship that was the hallmark of Queen in concert.Killer Queen have toured throughout the world and performed alongside many world-class acts including Wilson Pickett, Ian Dury and the Blockheads and Bob Geldof.

Their world-class status was recognised by the music industry when Madness presented them the title of 1999 World-wide Tribute Band Of  The Year.Collectively the band, throughout their various careers, have recorded and performed with a vast array of top musicians, including Roger Taylor and Brian May.

Desperado will play Ludlow during their massive 2010 world tour, presenting a programme featuring all the classic Eagles songs delivered in full Eagles sound and vision.

The band is a six-piece ensemble of accomplished musicians from around the UK. The sum of these parts creates a truly superb homage to the originals, such that you could just believe you ARE standing on that street corner in Winslow Arizona, or on that dark desert highway.Desperado perform all the Eagles greats, from Hotel California to Tequila Sunrise, and usually dip into the solo careers of Henley and Walsh, adding beautifully to the total experience.

An incredible night in Ludlow Castle’s outer bailey – not to be missed! Bring a picnic, join the party and experience a kind of magic . . . in a New York minute.
